What are dragons?

Dragons are mythical beings.

Dragons exists. Not physical, but as spiritual beings. They have had a physical form, in the beginning of times, and that's why we remember how they look like. There are many sorts of dragons, in many colors and shapes, and more and more (children's') books are published about them, and they are much fun to read.
The dragon has always held the energy that we, as human kind, were lost for a long time. Now humanity is rising to a higher level in their spiritual development,  and becomes more and more aware of their spiritual origin, the dragon energy is again available. The dragon touches the inner core, and makes the intensity of your spiritual being grow. It makes you sparkle in your original colors again. The old sources in the field of the memory of the earth are going to work again, together with the connections we have with the cosmic source. This brings lots of movements in our lives, at all levels: mental, spiritual, emotional en physical.

The name "dragon" comes from the Greek word "derkein" - seeing. The dragon is supposed to have unusual sharp vision in the physical, intellectual en psychic spheres. The dragon is known as guardian of temples, paradises, magical and hidden treasures.  

Dragon love, transforming love

Is dragon energy just the same as love energy?

Yes, but it goes beyond. There is conditional love, unconditional love, universal love and dragon love. Dragon love is from the inner earth en has kept and protected its origin. She knows about conditional love and even from hate, but she didn't mingle with it and she stayed pure.
She is like universal love, but flows only at places where she can be received. She affects the hearts of people to open up.

Universal love is given freely to all. Dragon love is given to the ones who are ready to receive. She connects. She connects contrasts in love. She integrates. She works together with the person who receives her.

Universal love is like water, flowing for everybody, without judgment, refreshing, feeding and cleaning and is available and present everywhere, like the air.

Dragon love is like fire, purifying, cleaning, burning, it spares nothing, it penetrates deeper. It is like a flash of lightning, with the effect of the thunder. It throws your live upside down, putting everything in the bright light. No little corner keeps hidden. You have to deal with it, whatever you want it or not. And you are ready because the dragon only comes to you when you are ready. It is transforming love. The transforming fire.

Inner qualities of the dragon

The dragon is mostly guarding your inner power, your inner qualities. The fear for dragons, the fight with dragons and the wish to overcome dragons, is our fear for our inner power, the power of our source.  To find out the feeling of this inner source, people have to look into their selves.  Lots of people have hidden this feeling deep inside because they find it not comfortable to feel a power that is so strong.

Our inner dragon is guarding our inner qualities and our inner power, until you are ready to meet your own dragon, to face your fears and to handle your inner ancient power.

The fight with the dragon

The fight with the dragon, the fight with your own monsters and demons, the fight with your own shadow side is necessary before your find your own inner power that is hidden inside that fight. From the stories we know about the brave knight that is beating his dragon, we could assume that we have to kill our dragon too. Nothing is less true. To undo the dragon from his threat, it is necessary to fully face the fear and the threat that comes from the dragon. To accept your own dark side, to draw power from this experience, to come into your power.

We have been educated so strongly with the idea of duality: this is good and that is wrong, and we adjusted to much to the valid standards, that we forget who we are. If then the dragon appears into your live, your life is getting upside down, until you regain the connection with your inner force. This power often is not to be found in you 'usual' side, the side you like to show yourself, but right in you 'unusual' side, the side of yourself you don't know very well, that frightens you, and you don't like to face. You have to go inside, to the unknown, the hidden.

It's not the dragon, but the fear of the dragon that must be concord. The fear for yourself, fore who you are. The fear for all hidden aspects, for the things you don't like to face. The fear for the unknown, for the things you cannot understand. But somewhere - deep inside- you feel some kind of recognition. This process can take much time, with many uncomfortable moments, clearing much old sore. Also with an enormous satisfaction as you fulfill this task! If you discover yourself, with everything that belongs to you. If you  dare to look further then the human ego. If you dare to look inside, to make contact with your soul, dare to listen to your heart. If you dare to admit that deep hidden power in yourself and  dare to live that power, then you find these ancient power inside your! Then you reach your inner voice, your inner power. Then you can work together with your dragon! Then your dragon energy is available.
